Sue Walker
Australia Regional Representative
(Queensland University of Technology, Queensland)
I am a Professor in the School of Early Childhood and Inclusive Education at the Queensland University of Technology. My research interests include epistemic beliefs and teachers’ practice; teacher-child relationships; child outcomes in relation to inclusive early childhood education programs; early intervention and the transition to school. I have been a member of AHDA for over 20 years and have fulfilled a variety of roles including (as current) QLD State representative. I believe AHDA plays an incredibly important role as a developmental organization in Australasia and I think the diversity of the AHDA membership is a key strength. I hope to see AHDA continue to grow and develop providing a forum for developmental researchers to share their work and make connections with others.
