Junior Member at Large (NZ)

I am a PhD Candidate at the University of Auckland, New Zealand. As a member of the Early Learning Lab, I am part of an amazing team running a longitudinal study which looks at the development of children’s cooperative ability and understanding. My research primarily focuses on prosocial behaviors such as helping and sharing and the mechanisms that underly these behaviors. Precisely, I am interested in how prosocial emotions (e.g., gratitude, elevation, shame) motivate children to maintain and repair social relationships. I joined the AHDA team in 2022 as a Junior Member at Large (NZ). As a young researcher being part of AHDA is a wonderful way to connect with other scientists in the field, to stay up-to-date with new research, and to gain experience in what is involved in planning and organizing a conference.
