2023 Webinar Series

During 2023, AHDA is running a series of webinars exploring topics in developmental science, including the teaching of developmental science, longitudinal modelling, and finally, a showcase day for our ECR members to share the fruits of their labours in a supportive, community setting. Webinar 1: Teaching Developmental Science

Date: 30th of June
Topic: In the Teaching Yarn, we will share teaching practices and experiences to best engage students with developmental science.

Webinar 2: Longitudinal Modelling in Developmental Science

Date: 25th August, 10:30 GMT+10
Topic: Dr Alex O’Donnell will present “Turn to Face the Strange Ch-Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes: Longitudinal Modelling in Developmental Science”. This is a practical session for handling longitudinal data using MPlus and R.

Webinar 3: ECR Showcase

Date: 24th of November
Topic: This will involve a series of presentations from our fledgling researchers (Honours through to < 5 years post PhD) from across Australasia. Presenters will be selected based on abstract submissions due in late September. Stay tuned for more information!
